Specialist service

Security & access control.

CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and guarding — technology and people coordinated under one contract for commercial premises.

Overview

What this service is really for.

Security fails in the gaps — the camera nobody maintains, the alarm nobody responds to, the door code nobody changed after a leaver.

Meridian coordinates systems and people together: maintained technology, managed access, and guarding or keyholding where it’s genuinely needed — one contract, no gaps between suppliers.

How we deliver

We audit what’s installed, what works and who has access — then maintain the systems, manage the access lifecycle and arrange staffing proportionate to the actual risk, not the fear.

Compliance considerations

Delivered within the relevant frameworks: SIA licensing for guarding, data-protection duties for CCTV, and maintenance records for insurers.

Common questions

Asked before most contracts.

Can you take over an existing alarm or CCTV system? +

Usually yes — most systems can be inherited, serviced and improved without replacement. We’ll tell you honestly if yours can’t.

Is guarding always necessary? +

No — and we’ll say so. Technology plus keyholding covers many premises; guarding is for where risk genuinely justifies it.
